Cantine Pellegrino is one of Sicily´s most important and prosperous wineries. Today they are one of very few families who can trace their lineage back to the original 19th Century founders of the Marsala trade.

This Marsala is produced from a blend of local indigenous grapes and is made in a classic sweet style and aged in oak casks for at least 2 years. Pellegrino make some of the finest Marsala in Sicily. Now woefully out of fashion, do try a glass with desert to remind yourself just how good top Marsala can be.

This is sweet, fresh and fruity, with hints of black cherry, pomegranate and plum, with pleasing aromas of honey and dried figs. This sweet Marsala is lovely with Chocolate based desserts, and is an essential ingredient for authentic Tiramisu and Zabaglione.
